Abstract: 

Introduction: The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of selected physical activity program on life expectancy and general self-efficacy of inactive nursing students. Methods: The current research method was semi-experimental and was conducted on 30 non-active nursing students of Islamic Azad University, Khoy branch, who were selected by available method. The subjects were randomly divided into two control groups (15 people) and test (15 people). This research was carried out in Salamon's design. The test group performed a regular exercise program during 32 sessions of 60 minutes for 8 weeks, and the control group performed daily routine activities. Then both groups completed demographic characteristics questionnaire, life expectancy questionnaire by Schneider et al. (1991) and general self-efficacy questionnaire by Scherer et al. (1982). To analyze the data, correlation t-test was used to determine intra-group differences, and independent t-test was used to determine inter-group differences. Results: The findings of the post-test in the experimental group indicate that selected physical exercises have a significant effect on life expectancy and general self-efficacy of students (p<0. 001). Conclusion: According to the results of this research, it seems that one of the best solutions for life expectancy and general self-efficacy of students is physical activity and sports.

Abstract: 

Introduction: The present study was down with the aim of determining the indirect effect of primary maladaptive schemas and attachment styles on obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), through the mediation of defense mechanisms. Materials and Methods: The research method was correlational based on structural equation modeling. The statistical population of the research included people suffering from obsessive-compulsive disorder who referred to psychological counseling centers in Tehran in the period from the beginning to the end of 2018. Number of 390 personness were selected by available sampling method. Data collection tools are Maudsley's obsessive-compulsive questionnaire (Hodgson and Rachman, 1977), early maladaptive schemas questionnaire (Yang, 1998), attachment styles questionnaire (Hazan and Shaver, 1987) and defense mechanisms questionnaire (Andrews et al., 1993). Results: Data analysis using Pearson's correlation method and structural equation modeling showed that there is a relationship between primary maladaptive schemas, attachment styles and defense mechanisms with obsessive-compulsive disorder (P<0. 01). Conclusion: here is a relationship between attachment styles and primary maladaptive schemas with defense mechanisms (P<0. 01). In addition, the model of obsessive-compulsive disorder based on primary maladaptive schemas, attachment styles and defense mechanisms have a favorite fit.

Abstract: 

Introduction and purpose: Paying attention to children's psychological, emotional, cognitive, psychological and attachment processes can provide the basis for reducing psychological harm. according to this the present study was conducted to investigate efficacy of positivist parenting method training on attachment quality in fifth-grade primary school female students. Methodology: It was q quasi-experimental study with pretest, posttest, control group, with control group design. Follow-up period was administered in two months too. The statistical population of the study included fifth-grade primary school female students with and their parents in the city of Tehran in academic year 2021-22. Twenty-seven students were selected through purposive sampling method and randomly accommodated into experimental and control groups (14 students in the experimental group and 13 in the control group). The experimental group received ten ninety-minute sessions of positivist parenting training during two and half months. The applied questionnaire in this study included children’, s Children's Attachment Questionnaire (Kappenberg, Halpern, 2007). The data from the study were analyzed through mixed ANOVA via SPSS23 software. Findings: The results showed that positivist parenting training has significant effect on the attachment quality of the fifth-grade primary school female students (p<0001, Eta=0. 67, F=50. 58). Conclusion: According to the findings of the study it can be concluded that positivist parenting training can be used as an appropriate method to improve attachment quality in female students through employing normal parenting methods and appropriate communication principles.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Puberty is an effective and critical period as a specific developmental time when the adolescents face problems. therefore, the present study was conducted to investigate the efficacy of family-oriented respectful-spiritual psychological intervention on the emotion regulation of the male adolescents in the puberty period. Materials and Methods: The present study was quasi-experimental with pretest, posttest, control group and two-month follow-up period design. The statistical population of the present study included male adolescents in the puberty period (13-15 years old) in the first high schools in zone 5 of the city of Tehran in the academic year 2020-21. 27 male adolescents in the puberty period were selected through random sampling method and randomly accommodated into experimental and control groups. The parents of the adolescents in the experimental group received fourteen seventy-five-minute family-oriented respectful-spiritual psychological intervention during three-and-a-half months. The applied questionnaire in the current study included emotion regulation questionnaire (Garnefski, Kraakji and Spinhoven, 2001). The data from the study were analyzed via SPSS23 software through mixed variance. Results: The results showed that family-oriented respectful-spiritual psychological intervention had significant effect on the emotions regulation of male adolescents in the puberty period (p<0. 001) and could lead to the improvement of positive emotion regulation and decrease of negative emotion regulation. Conclusion: According to the findings of the present study it can be concluded that the family-oriented respectful spiritual psychological intervention can be used as an efficient therapy to improve the adolescents’,emotional regulation through employing techniques such as creating positive psychological states, increasing tolerance level, and also training facing and responding intellectually based on affective relationships in family members.
