Abstract: 

Introduction: One of the goals of dental education is to train capable dentists, so to improve the efficiency of the educational system towards this goal, changes in the educational system are necessary. The aim of this study was to design a patientcentered dental education model. Methods: In this study, which was performed by qualitative method (Grounded theory approach), semi-structured interviews were conducted with purposeful snowball sampling with the participation of 21 dental education experts. The coding steps were analyzed by Strauss and Corbin. The validity of the research was validated, transferable and verifiable. Results: The data obtained from the analysis of the interviews were coded in 66 categories into 50 sub-categories, 17 main categories and 8 categories as the central code. The extracted categories were formed under the headings of "Current Situation Analysis", "Student Efficiency", "Evaluation", "Educational Strategies", "Participation Power", "Patient", "Planning and Management" and " Structure Preparation ". Conclusion: In order to train capable graduates, we need to make changes in educational strategies and evaluation methods by preparing the ground and proper planning and using the experiences of experts and external and internal partnerships, and finally find a way of education. Make sure that more efficient graduates are ready to provide appropriate services to the patient.

Abstract: 

Introduction: One of the most important issues in education is the correction of people's beliefs, feelings and desires, because in order to achieve the growth, development and progress of society and the individual, it is necessary to return to human beings and figure out the internal changes in them more than and before the political, economic and social structures. The purpose of this study was to investigate the position of the desired internal change (change in beliefs, feelings and desires) in the upstream documents of the educational system of Iran. Method: In this study, Shannon entropy method is employed to provide a descriptive content analysis. The high level documents of the education system and its statistical samples including the documents of fundamental change and the document of the national curriculum were considered. The research tool was a checklist consisting of 37 sub-components involved in three main components as the triple acts of the desired internal change. Content validity of this checklist was approved by seven professors of educational sciences. Results: In upstream documents A total of 1168 times attention has been paid to the 3 dimensions of the desired inner change in man, which is the most coefficient of importance (wj) belonged to the dimension of the desired internal change tendency with a coefficient of (0. 341) and then there is the epistemological dimension with a coefficient of importance (0. 334) and the voluntary dimension with a coefficient of importance (0. 325). Also, the amount of information load (Ej) in 3dimensions, respectively is related to the tendency dimension (1. 257), the epistemological dimension (1. 230) and the voluntary dimension (1. 149). (1. 257), the epistemological dimension (1. 230) and the voluntary dimension (1. 149). Conclusion: The authors of education documents, in regulating the content of the mentioned documents, have paid more attention to the orientation dimension than the epistemological dimension and the voluntary dimension, because no change takes place until the person is emotionally aroused, and the realization of other dimensions is difficult.

Abstract: 

Introduction: The purpose of this study was to analyze the perception of teachers and first-year high school students about the process of educating a research student in the classroom of experimental sciences and to investigate the factors and obstacles of educating research students in the classes of this course. Method: The research method was qualitative and phenomenological approach. Research field was district one of education in Mashhad in the academic year 2018. Key informants were selected based on purposive sampling and the sample size was in accordance with the theoretical saturation approach with ten teachers of experimental sciences and ten junior high school students were saturated. Then, the gatheresd information through in-depth interviews was analyzed. The method of transcendental reduction was performed in phenomenology. Results: The final findings of the research included 7 concepts that the concept "The nature of research based on experimental sciences" showed the perception of research towards this lesson. Concepts "effective teacher-student interactions, attractive and varied methods of the teacher and high research spirit of some students" were among the effective factors in educating the researcher student and the concepts of "inappropriate educational conditions, teacher's educational weaknesses and incompatibility of some students with the research environment" were among the barriers to educating the research student in experimental science classrooms. Conclusion: The findings of the research can be effective in training researcher students in the education system.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Today, knowledge acquisition and the impact of training on efficiency in learning organizations is considered a necessity. The main purpose of this study was to examine the evaluation of the effectiveness of students' journal clubs education based on Donald Kirk Patrick Model in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences in 2017. Methods: The current research is a quasi-experimental research. The statistical population of the study was 175 students of Tabriz University of Medical Sciences, 120 of them were randomly divided into two experimental groups (trained 60) and control group (untrained, 60). The main instrument for data collection was a researcher-made questionnaire based on the Kirk Patrick Model. Data were analyzed using t-test, paired t-test, covariance analysis and SPSS software. Results: The results showed that the level of reaction of the learners was significantly higher than that of average and satisfactory level in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences. Comparing the knowledge of trained students before and after training showed a significant increase in students' knowledge. Comparison of trained and trained students through covariance test in two levels of behavior and results indicate the effectiveness of educational courses in changing behavior and increasing the performance results. Conclusion: Regarding the effectiveness of the trained student journals 'clubs' training on the four levels of reaction, learning, behavior, and outcomes towards the students, it is recommended that these courses be held regularly at specific intervals with the presence of students and professors at the university.

Abstract: 

Introduction: As important as planning is for religious education, it is important to know the issues and its pathology. Possible harms in religious education will frustrate the efforts of educators,Therefore, recognizing the negative aspects of education is no less important than recognizing its positive aspects,Therefore, the present study was conducted with the aim of examining the current situation of religious education and its pathology in Salman Farsi Nokhbeghan Center as one of the most successful cultural and educational centers for students in the country. Method: In this study, the students and educators of Center with a descriptive-survey method and a questionnaire with 81% validity and 81. 2% reliability from three perspectives: "Educational methods" and " "Educational Content" and "Teacher-Teacher Relationship" are examined. Results: The results of descriptive statistics show that the coach's relationship with the coach has been affected by injuries such as pessimism towards the coach, creating a spirit of selfaggrandizement and creating mistrust and hatred towards the coach. Educational methods have also been associated with stubbornness, hostility, loss of prestige, and hypocrisy in the educator. Also, educational content has been confronted with a negative attitude and pessimism towards religious content, learning to be biased in judging, creating instability in religious beliefs. Conclusion: According to the identified harms, training-oriented collections should take action to correct the educational content, the relationship between the trainer and the trainer and their training methods.

Abstract: 

Introduction: The enhancement, development, and provision of appropriate and efficient human resources in society depends on the educational system. Educational services provided through universities are one of the most important service areas in a given society. This study aimed to investigate the relationship between the quality of educational services, satisfaction with education, and academic achievement from the perspective of students at Birjand University of medical sciences. Methods: The research was a descriptive-analytical study. The statistical population included all 1891 students of Birjand University of Medical Sciences. The sample size was estimated n=320 using Krejcie and Morgan’, s table, and the sample were selected via stratified random (relative) sampling method based on the number of students in each faculty. The 27-item SERVQUAL questionnaire, a standard 14-item education satisfaction questionnaire, and the total average of the students were employed for data collection. Data were analyzed in SPSS-18 software using descriptive and inferential tests. The level of significance was set at α, =0. 05. Results: There was a significant difference between the average of the current situation and the desired situation of the quality of educational services and its dimensions from the students' perspective (p<0. 05). The current quality of educational services and its dimensions were positively associated with the variables of satisfaction with education and academic achievement (p<0. 05). Conclusion: Given the negative gap in all dimensions of the quality of educational services, it is recommended to continuously draw upon the opinions of students who are involved in improving the quality of educational services, and to plan comprehensively for the elimination of the gap between the current situation and the desired situation in accordance with students' opinions.

Abstract: 

Introduction: The aim of this study was to identify the factors affecting entrepreneurship education and achievement by emphasizing the educational theory of the five minds and using the perspective of academic elites. Method: The method of the present study was qualitative and using the Delphi method. Based on the review of articles, texts and resources related to educational models and experts' opinions, through Delphi technique, the elements of entrepreneurship education model based on the theory of five minds were identified among the 24 indicators of educational models and 6 related indicators. Experts participating in this study were 32 professors and experts in academic entrepreneurship education and fluent in the educational theory of the five minds. Findings were analyzed using PLS method and ISM technique. Results: Structural model analysis showed that in the model of entrepreneurship education based on the theory of five minds, formulating educational goals acts as the cornerstone of the educational model and also factors analyzing learner characteristics and learning environment design as basic factors in designing an entrepreneurial education model. It is based on the theory of five minds. On the other hand, the formulation of educational goals in designing an educational model has a high degree of influence with minimal dependence, and any change in it can affect other factors. Conclusion: According to the results of the present study, it is suggested that in future studies, variables such as formulation of educational objectives, stepwise retrieval, analysis of learning assignments, determination of teaching materials and tools, design of learning environment and analysis of learner characteristics Emphasize and use these variables with the aim of developing and advancing educational entrepreneurship.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Knowledge and skills acquired in higher education institutions have an important role in the cultural, social and economic development of countries. The present study was conducted with the aim of designing and validating the internship curriculum model for undergraduate students of Farhangian University. Method: The research method was a combination of exploratory research and the study population included Curriculum development specialists, professors of Tehran universities in the academic year 2019-2020 and experts of the departments of the author's office. Purposeful sampling method was used to sample internship-related research, and judgmental sampling method was used to sample specialists. A document analysis checklist was used to collect data from document review and a researcher-made questionnaire was used to collect data related to model validation. Content analysis and binomial test were used to analyze the data. Results: The result of the research was to present a proposed model consisting of the curriculum planning approach and principles of curriculum planning in the form of four elements of the curriculum, namely objectives, content, teaching-learning strategies and evaluation. . Conclusion: For each part of the model, components were presented that pay attention to them, providing a suitable platform for planners in designing and compiling the internship curriculum for undergraduate students and teachers.

Abstract: 

Introduction: Having appropriate and correct study skills is an essential step for educational interventions, especially in the field of medical sciences. The present study was conducted with the aim of the effectiveness of teaching study strategies on the self-efficacy of Alborz University of Medical Sciences students. MethodS: The method of this research was semi-experimental with a pre-test-post-test design with a control group. The statistical population of the present study consisted of all dental students in Alborz University of Medical Sciences in the academic year 2017-2018, and 30 people were selected by targeted random sampling and placed in two groups of 15 people, experimental and control. In this research, in order to implement the intervention, Tutoli's study skills training package (2012) was used, and Morris' self-efficacy questionnaire (2001) was used to measure self-efficacy. In order to analyze the data, univariate analysis of covariance test was used. Results: The research results showed that teaching study skills has a significant effect on increasing the self-efficacy of dental students in social, academic and emotional components (p=0. 0001). As a result, based on the obtained results, it can be said that the use of correct study skills and methods can be effective in the development of students' self-efficacy. Conclusion: Considering the importance of study strategies for dentistry students, holding training courses in this regard can be effective in improving and amendment the learning process as well as students' academic self-efficacy.

Abstract: 

Introduction: English language teaching curriculum is very important in effective teaching and learning of students. In order to pay attention to the importance of teaching English as one of the most important communication tools, it is necessary to develop a curriculum that can accommodate all the necessary English language teaching needs. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze the content of the first high school English language curriculum textbooks by Shannon Entropy method. Methods: The research method is content analysis by "Shannon entropy" method that presents data processing in the context of content analysis with a new, quantitative and qualitative look. Entropy in information theory is an indicator for measuring uncertainty, which is represented by a probability distribution. The content of the layout was responsive (first-language English textbooks) and seven major components and 45 sub-components of English language teaching. Results: Shannon entropy content analysis results showed that the study of English language books in the first course of high school, the component of English learning strategies with the 1391 cases was the most frequent, and the least amount related to the challenges of learning English with zero cases. Conclusion: In the content of official textbooks, some of the components of English language education are less or less attentive, while the design, implementation and administration of English language education programs in the field of education are of particular importance.
