These days, universities, research institutes and firms in many countries have decided to develop and commercialization of new products and services. But all of these organizations in this process faced with the shortcomings including the lack of attention to the factors affecting the commercialization strategy to find the best strategy and in result, successful commercialization of new technologies. This study has been focused to find solutions to address these weaknesses by identifying factors affecting the technology commercialization strategy and the relationship between the factor and the strategy through a systematic approach in this regard. To this end, a closer look has been taken to the literature to facilitate commercialization and overcome some of the problems in this matter by using a comprehensive systematic review and synthesis of studies in this field using meta-synthesis. Factors such as life cycle, the appropriability regime, size of exploiter firm, complementary assets, nature of exploiter firm, uncertainty, scientific-technical and management capabilities, environmental factors, financial resources, type of technology and the competitive position of the exploiter firm was identified as the main factors affecting, and in the end the effect of these factors on the technology commercialization strategies including In-house Commercialization, spin off company, joint R&D, joint ventures, strategic alliances, purchasing/acquisition, licensing, merge and sale were investigated.
