Abstract: 

Production firms select and design their proper production system with regard to their market and resources. Production systems or production process be introduced by series of variables. One of the most famous is product-process matrix of Hayes and wheelwright. It introduces production process by using product adult and process adult variables. In this research, after surveying of previous studies, new dimensions were recognized to intoduce production systems. These dimensions are defined by structural and infra-structural manufacturing decisions. A Sample with size 245 firms was selected from the production firms in Iran. Multiple discriminant analysis was used to analyze the data. The results showed that Iranian production systems could be introduced “Technology-Providers” and “Quality plans” dimensions. Finally, conclusions represent and recommends have been made for future researches.

Abstract: 

The project excellence model (PEM) evaluates projects by a comprehensive approach and measures the success and excellence of a project based on a set of pre-defined criteria. This model includes nine evaluation criteria; one is the “leadership” criterion. The execution responsibility of leadership in projects is undertaken by project managers. In this paper, a comprehensive conceptual competency model is presented by focusing on the PEM’s leadership criterion. This model suggests three general dimensions as necessary criteria for evaluating project managers: knowledge competency, performance competency and behavioral competency. Moreover, in this research, to achieve optimum evaluation process, a new multi-attribute decision making (MADM) method is designed integrating the Delphi and VIKOR techniques in a fuzzy environment. The proposed competency model and fuzzy hybrid evaluation method can be considered as a decision support system (DSS) that not only helps development of the project excellence level but is a move towards systematic planning and scientific decision making in the successful project management process.

Abstract: 

Attaining wellbeing and promoting standards of citizen's life are among the pillars of national security of countries since a long time ago, and success of governments in achieving this goal is interpreted as one of their power elements, in a manner that guarantee of social member’s survival and achieving good and happy life are counted as among the major mission of governments. In the present research, besides the review of literature about wellbeing, promoting national wellbeing has been considered from perspective of improvement of public service qualities and good governance. Research methodology includes both descriptive and correlation analysis based on Structural Equation Modeling. The data were collected by means of documents and libraries studies. The research results indicated that improvement of good governance components result in national wellbeing promotion. Meanwhile, promoting good governance paves the way for wellbeing promotion in quantities direction such as gross domestic product, education, research, health, etc. and qualitative direction such as happiness. In other words, promoting good governance has dual objectives such as improvement of quantitative indexes like national product and growth of qualitative indexes such as decrease of social costs of economic growth, safeguarding resources for future and stability of growth.

Abstract: 

Today ICT is growing remarkably and considered as an important enabler in different enterprises such that reaching the goals of an organization is almost impossible without it. The aim of using ICT is to achieve the business goals and ensure following the strategies. Therefore the organizations should benefit from ICT solutions to move toward their goals, using ICT solutions effectively. However without having appropriate processes, it will be a very difficult job. According to COBIT, As the IT Governance provides a structure for connecting IT processes, and relating information to enterprise goals, strategy and business requirements, and it integrates optimized methods of IT planning and organizing, acquiring and implementing, delivery and support, monitoring and evaluating for dual goals of risk management ( for making the confidentiality, availability, reliability and compliance) and acquiring benefits and advantages ( efficiency and effectiveness) in this paper, the maturity level of enterprise processes of information and communication technology (ICT) organization of Isfahan Municipality has been assessed by using this framework. Then a new aspect of COBIT and the relations between its different components are discussed. Finally, it considers the following question: Does the rising of maturity level of enterprise processes lead to increase the meeting of the business requirements?

Abstract: 

Reduction of production cost, increase of product quality and desired delivery are critical agents in modern competition environment. Selecting the best suppliers can significantly affect the of above agents and, consequently, increase the competitiveness in organization. In the literature of supplier selection, cost, quality and lead time are important criteria but, in numerous models, only the cost and quality criteria are considered. In this work, in addition to the removal of this shortcoming, lack of inventory management in supplier selection models has been removed. So a base inventory model in crashing cost was considered and it was converted into a nonlinear programming model by applying some changes (changed Ben-Daya & Raof model). Next, the obtained model along with a model in multiple sourcing were combined and then a new model of nonlinear mixed integer programming type was presented. In the end, the new model was tested and confirmed with a numeric example. In order to attain more confidence, once more the model was run without the consideration of crashing cost and the results obtained were compared with the previous results. The final represent the desired performance of model.

Abstract: 

The most important factor in brand development and maintenance is creating loyalty in costumer’s views, attitudes and behaviors. In recent years making use of human metaphor and giving personality to the brand in various studies have been used. In this study, Hyperstar brand, as one of the biggest private chains has been chosen for evaluating the impact of brand personality on attitudinal and behavioral loyalty. Population for this study consists of all the costumers of Hyperstar in Tehran. Necessary data was gathered with questionnaires with 23 questions asked from 120 respondents who were chosen by convenience sampling. For testing the model, least partial squares and PLS Graph were used. The results showed that four dimensions of responsibility, activity, emotionality, aggressiveness have impact on attitudinal loyalty, and attitudinal loyalty on behavioral, but brand’s simplicity has no impact on attitudinal loyalty. Furthermore from among the brand personality dimensions, only activity has impact on behavioral loyalty. Therefore, it could be concluded that, in the evaluation of the impact of brand personality on loyalty, it is better that attitudinal and behavioral loyalty be evaluated separately.

Abstract: 

Today, concepts and factors such as competition, trading, production, supply and logistics as well as purchasing are changed dramatically. Conventionally, organizations were relying on internal markets for their purchasing and supply attempts. Therefore, purchasing principles and regulations were dependent on internal circumstances. However, with the advent of big multinational companies, which based their considerations mainly on international environment, these principles and regulations have become more different.In some countries, however, there is still a combination of conventional and modern principles running in the area of production and trading. For instance, although supply and provision are performed in a global level, the main problem that production companies face in Iran is importing process. Therefore, this article has studied the process of importing process in Iranian auto industry in order to identify and rank the importing process risk factors using Multiple Criteria Decision Making (MADM) approach. Thus, after a brief literature review, factors affecting importing process are enumerated. Finally, they are ranked using Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) technique.

Abstract: 

Todays, BPR has become as one of the most popular management techniques. Despite of the wide use of BPR to improve their performance by different organizations and factories, researches show that about 70-80 percent of these projects have been failed. Lack of an adequate methodological approach and vision and also using non-adequate tools and techniques in their implementation, are some of the main reasons for these failures. Literature review shows that using computer simulation is one of the most adequate BPR techniques. Kettinger et al. considered 25 BPR methodologies and developed a compound methodology for BPR basis of aninductive approach in a “Stage-Activity” frame. In this paper, 51 new BPR and 24 new simulation methodologies, approaches and techniques were gathered and considered, and on the bas is of their research methodology, a comprehensive combined methodology was presented for BPR by the use of simulation technique. For test and correction of this methodology, it was used in re-engineering of the organizational affaires process of NIORDC (National Iranian Oil Refining and Distribution Company). Firstly, the as-is situation of this process was modeled by using BPMN tool, simulated by using Simprocess simulation software, and verified by using statistical tests. Afterwards, different alternative BPR scenarios were suggested, and simulated and evaluated by using AHP method.

Abstract: 

Fuzzy linear programming problems are models in which all parameters and variables are represented by fuzzy numbers and are known as FFLP problems. In this paper the shortcomings of the existing methods are pointed out and, to overcome these shortcomings, a new method is proposed for finding the optimal fuzzy solution of FFLP problems. To illustrate the proposed method, numerical examples are solved and the obtained results are discussed. The results showed that the proposed method is capable of finding the optimal solution in all areas. The existing methods have shortcomings and its main advantage is simplicity in computations.

Abstract: 

With the increasing pace of science and knowledge in today’s world, companies in order to comply with the changing conditions have to use communication technology and capital investment in this technology is growing rapidly. Performance evaluation is one of the main concerns for monitoring this agreement. Recently applying the theory of data envelopment analysis (DEA) and grey theory for performance evaluating has been highly regarded. Considering the importance of telecommunications company, as a leader in the field of communication technology and necessary of evaluating its performance, these two techniques have been used in this study. For this purpose, first a set of criteria in evaluating the financial performance of telecommunication and the importance (weight) each were determined using the grey numbers.Then of using DEA, a model for evaluating and ranking the telecommunications companies was presented. The result indicates that the major telecommunication companies province in Markazi, Tehran and Khuzestan have the best financial performance.
