Background & Aims: Health care providers assist the family physicians in providing health services. Satisfaction of health care providers will play a significant role in sustaining and providing more comprehensive and qualitative services. This study was conducted to determine the level of satisfaction of health care providers in Fars and Mazandaran provinces from the urban family physician program. Materials & Methods: This cross-sectional study was carried out in winter 2016. 15% of health care providers in Fars and Mazandaran provinces were randomly selected and studied. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire including personal variables with 16 open and closed questions; satisfaction from the family physician program was analyzed by 13 closed questions in Likert scale; the validity and reliability of questionnaire were confirmed. Results: Among 228 health care workers, 133 cases (58. 3%) were employed in Fars province and 219 cases (96. 1%) were female. The average satisfaction level of the urban family physicians was 3. 90 ± 0. 9 from 5 score and 3. 22 ± 1. 0 of population under coverage. Overall satisfaction of 54. 8% of health care providers was higher than the average (above 3. 5 from the total 5 score). There was no significant difference between the satisfaction of health care providers and the province of service place in any of the variables (p <0. 05). There was a significant relationship between the overall satisfaction of health care providers and the willingness to survive (p = 0. 000, r= 0/197). Conclusion: The results of this study showed that satisfaction of health care providers with family physicians' performance was higher than the average and moderate for the population under coverage. It is suggested to design and implement interventional programs for different levels in order to improve satisfaction.

Abstract:

Background & Aims: Virtual social networks have become an unrivaled means in the field of information and communication technology and are one of the effective factors plays an important role in the academic achievement of students in today's modern world. Accordingly, this study aimed to determine nursing students' perspective toward the role of virtual social networks on their academic achievement. Materials & Methods: This study was a descriptive survey conducted on 356 nursing students in Tabriz University of Medical Sciences in 2017. The participants were recruited using stratified random sampling. A researcher-made questionnaire was used for collecting data. Descriptive statistics were applied to the data by SPSS ver. 13 Software. Results: while the majority of the participants expressed that virtual social networks have had a constructive and positive role in both "inquiry" and "assignment writing" domains, they disclosed that virtual social networks were destructive in the two other "grade promotion" and "concentration" domains of academic achievement. Also, from the students' perspective, virtual social networks have had a neutral impact on the "academic motivation". Conclusion: It is a necessary requirement for officials of nursing education and other stakeholders to adopt preplanned measures in line with guiding the students to make the most of the positive points of virtual social networks and to prevent potential pitfalls and malicious consequences that their misuse could bring with them.

They were evaluated how to write a nursing process, before the intervention, by providing the scenario and after the intervention on patient care at the bedside, by using a check list. To determine the validity of the checklist, the formal and content validity and reliability of the Cronbach's alpha (α = 0. 75) and test-retest (r=0. 70) were used. The data were analyzed by using independent T test and paired T test of SPSS software. Results: The mean age of students was 22. 16 ± 1. 23. The results of independent T test showed that there was no significant relationship between two group before intervention (p<0. 05). The results of paired T test showed that educational workshop was effective in students' executive skill of nursing process (p<0. 05). Conclusion: Regarding to the impact of training in executive skills of nursing process, it is recommended that patients care in educational centers provided by using nursing process and evidence-based nursing.
