The foundation and basis of each organization is its human resources and having an effective infrastructure, i. e., the commendable individuals in the most suitable occupational positions, is a prerequisite for the success of the organization, especially military organizations. The present study, with the acknowledgment of the above issue, aims to design a suitable model of meritocracy in the systems of recruiting and selecting volunteers or the Officers' Academy of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army. Regarding the aim of research, this study is applied and a field method of data collection and has followed an exploratory (qualitative-quantitative) approach. In the qualitative phase, through a deep interview with 30 experts, professors and commanders of the officers' academies of I. R. of Iran Army, the conceptual model from the grounded theory method was extracted using Nvivo software. In the quantitative phase, using a questionnaire tool and a survey of 100 experts and commanders, in addition to confirming the conceptual model, the relationship between dimensions and the components were also examined through PLS software. Finally, the model of meritocracy designed in the form of 268 codes, 28 components and 7 dimensions. These dimensions include "Islamic-Iranian Ideology Merits" with 3 components, "Islamic-Iranian Values Merits" with 5 components, "Skill Merits" with 3 components, "Management Merits" with 5 components, "Executive Merits" with 4 components, "Job-specific Merits" with 4 components and "Knowledge Merits" with 4 components.

The armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran should move towards intelligence in order to benefit from environmental opportunities, respond to environmental changes and create synergies in order to strengthen the Islamic Republic of Iran. The title of this research is "developing an intelligent armed forces pattern based on the views of Imam Khamenei (His Majesty). The main question of the research is: How is the pattern of intelligent armed forces based on the views of the Supreme Leader (His Majesty)? This research is an applied and developmental study and the tool for collecting data in the documentary section was depicting the speeches and statements of Imam Khamenei (His Majesty) from 1367 to 1397/01/01 and in the field section, a researcher-made questionnaire has been developed. For data extraction, the grounded theory and content analysis methods have been used for confirming and validating components and indicators from experts' viewpoints. Based on the results of this research, 1652 concepts were extracted and compared together, and 101 items were categorized into 6 groups of Casual, Axial, Interventive, Environmental, Consequential and Strategic, which ultimately were based on the pattern of intelligent armed forces based on Imam Khomeini's views ( His Majesty).

Mobilization discourse means a set of categories, concepts and themes that as a model and in a logical and complex relationship are placed under the macro-discourse of the Islamic Revolution. A discourse that, although based on religious principles and infallible Imams' conducts and some part of Shi'i history, was especially experienced in the Islamic Revolution of Iran as a social mobilization model. Using a mixed method design, this research has been done to explain and re-examine the dimensions, requirements and components of the mobilization discourse and its role in preserving and continuing the Islamic awakening (qualitative: post-structuralist discourse analysis; and quantitative: experts' questionnaire). Based on the analysis of the views of two Imams of the Islamic Revolution (Imam Khomeini and Imam Khamenei) on mobilization, this pattern includes interconnected concepts and themes that can be represented in the form of 8 nodes or macro dimensions (with 67 components and 785 themes) and 9 requirements (with 660 themes). Based on the results of the analysis of the views of 105 experts and authorities in this field, the experienced model of the mobilization discourse with the mobilizing priority in the "religious and Islamic, cultural and moral, defense and military, political and managerial, and economic and constructivist" dimensions respectively regarding their priority are influential in realization of the five (socio-cultural, religious-defense-security, religious, political-managerial, and ultimately economic-development) dimensions of Islamic awakening. It also influences the achievement of the six-fold Islamic awakening processes (strategic goals, strategic actions, macro strategies, strategic requirements, strategic principles and values, and strategic plans).

Superior technology-based defense organizations, due to distinctive features such as dependence on innovation, strategic objectives, reliance on applied knowledge and dynamic nature, entail more attention to capabilities that are suitable to their own conditions, including innovation. For this reason, in this research, we investigate the effect of product and process innovation, technological capability and dual-functionality on the performance of defense products. Regarding the aim of study, the research is exploratory and descriptive, and in terms of achievement, it is an applied research. In line with localizing the variables of subject literature with defense organizations based on superior technology in Iran, the focal group method was used and the required data was collected in the form of a questionnaire from 58 defense organizations of the electronic industry (as a technology-based superior industry). Analysis of the obtained data by the help of the modeling partial structural least squares equations showed that the capabilities of product innovation, process, dual-functionality and technological innovation influence product performance. The research findings lead the managers of defense industry electronics towards empowering the organization in the field of product innovation, process and enhancing the technological capabilities and dual-functionality.

Investigation and explanation of the contribution of power sources (economic power, political power, social-cultural power, military power, territorial power, scientific and technological power, cross-border power, and spatial power) in the national power and their proper composition has always been a concern for the researchers of geography, international relations and so on. Therefore, in this research, efforts were made to identify and analyze the factors affecting national power and the relationship between them. Finally, after comprehensive and scientific studies, the most effective factors in the national power of selected countries were recognized with regard to the amount and severity of each of them as the following: civil power (rate: very high and intensity: 0. 93), spatial power (rate: high & intensity: 0. 84), cross-border power (rate: high & intensity: 0. 80) and economic power (rate: high & intensity: 0. 78). The present study is applied and its related research method correlates with the correlation method. The statistical population of the research includes the tutors with academic rank of associate professors, assistant professors and trainers in the specialties and trends related to military sciences, strategic management, social sciences, geography and economics serving at the level of I. R. of Iran armed force. Using the Cochran formula, the population size of the sample was 133 individuals. The statistical sampling method is stratified random sampling. Data collection was done by using field and library methods, using documentation and records, interviewing the experts and a researcher-made questionnaire. The reliability of the questionnaire was calculated 0. 89 using the bisection method.

The present study seeks to study Iran's geopolitical state in the region to develop strategies for converting I. R. of Iran to the superior power of the region on the horizon of 1404. This research is quantitative and conducted using a survey method. In the framework of quantitative survey in the first stage and using library and exploratory studies, the theoretical framework was prepared and the relevant variables were extracted and then, using a questionnaire along with interviews, the data were collected and analyzed by statistical methods. The research, in terms of its purpose, is applied and its statistical population includes 45 specialists with a Ph. D. or M. A. degree in geopolitics and defense affairs, which have been counted regarding their small number. The results show that 5 factors of the extension of the territory, strategic depth, communicative status, domination of the Strait of Hormuz and using the advantage of religious groups determine the strategies of Iran to achieve superior power in the region. Based on these factors, 6 specific strategies, their formulation and prioritization were also presented.
