The present study investigates the influence of maintenance day on the optimal use of logistical investment items and its aim is to realize the revolutionary life of logistical investment items, identify opportunities and threats of the maintenance day, modify instructions and procedures in case of necessity, reduce repair costs, supply and replace, and also create a mechanism in order to make maximum use of resources and maintain the status quo. For achieving this aim, after obtaining the opinions of elites and experts, the dimensions and components of the research were determined and the conceptual model was designed based on planning, organizing, coordinating, controlling, technology, training, culture, and belongings management. This research is a kind of survey in terms of method and descriptive-analytic in terms of type of conducting since both the status quo is investigated and collected data through the questionnaire are analyzed; therefore, it is analytic. Furthermore, it is endeavored to investigate the maintenance day scientifically and practically. Accordingly, the optimal use of logistical investment items has to be paid attention to as one of the main and strategic issues of the organization in order to provide necessary circumstances to realize the revolutionary life of the equipment. The analysis of the data indicated that the maintenance day with suitable planning, organizing, coordinating, and culture creation could be effective in the optimal use of logistical investment items. Therefore, the attitudes of the staff must be changed using encouragement and punishment in order to motivate them and create the thought that maintenance does not need money and by a simple inspection, minor replacement, and well-timed adjustment and service many damages can be prevented.
