This main purpose of this paper is to investigate the extent to which the Islamic norms are parcticed by male students in sinor high school from the teachers’ and school principals’ viewpoints. Its other purpose is to provide some practical solutions so that it can encourage students to practice and observe the Islamic norms. Considering the nature of the subject and the objectives of the study, the research method is a combination of exploratory-type. Thus, for the qualitative stage, a sample of 16 experts and 15 students were selected for the interview by using the targeted sampling method. The statistical population of this study in the quantitative phase included all teachers, principals and deputies of the senior high schools in Tehran in the academic year 2015-2016. Based on the Kerjesi and Morgan table, 270 subjects were selected from among teachers, principals and deputies of senior high schools by random cluster sampling method. The necessary data collection tool of the qualitative phase was a semi-structured interview in two levels (of experts and students) and the tool of the quantitative stage was the scale for gradation of the teachers, principals and deputies. In the quantitative phase, the data were analyzed using the descriptive and inferential statistics (single-sample t-test); and in the qualitative section, the data were analyzed using open, central and selective coding. The results showed that from the viewpoint of teachers and school principals and deputies, male students of senior high schools, observe above average the Islamic norms in dimensions of dress and appearance, respect for religious rites, etiquette and respect for principals, teachers and others school staff, respect for ethics and good behavior with other students, observing the hygiene and cleanliness of the school space, and not neglecting their duties. The findings also showed that from the viewpoint of teachers, school principals and deputies, respecting students by the teachers, principals and school staff as a pattern of behavior, promoting respect for the teacher in the family and local and national media, increasing students’ awareness about Islamic ethics through continuous education of family and school, and informing students about their duties by family and school are among the most important practical solutions to encourage students to practice and observe Islamic norms.
