The aim of this research is to improve general health in patients with multiple sclerosis using group therapy on the basis of Frankl theory. This is a semiexperimental study with pre-and post-tests. After applying the General Health Questionair (GHQ) on the participants, 20 patients with scores over the standard level (23 or more) were chjosen randomly as the subjects. Then they were divided by half for exerimental and control groups. Both groups were pre-and post-tested. The results indicated that the group therapy on the basis of Frankl theory leads to reduction of depression, anxiety and physical signs, as well as enhancing the rate of general health and social performance of the subjects.

The goal of this research was to compare the effectiveness of the therapeutic interventions of Satir and Whitaker approaches in reduction of divorce probability in Couples at the brink of Divorce. A number of 24 couples were selected by purposeful sampling from among conflictual couples referred to the Council for Solution of Discrepancies in Karaj. The subjects were assigned into control and experimental groups. Marital Instability Index (MII) was used as pretest. Satir and Whitaker approaches of couple therapy were used as therapeutic interventions on the experimental groups for 8 sessions. No treatment was used for the control group. Pretest and posttest scores of all subjects in MII were analyzed using Covariance methods. The results indicated that therapeutic interventions of Satir and Whitaker approaches reduce divorce probability. Also, the results showed that effectiveness of Satir's therapeutic interventions were more effective than Whitaker's.

Employing professional ethical issues are important in counseling and psychotherapy. The aim of this research was to survey how acquainted counselors and psychologists are with their professional ethical issues. Descriptive method was used for this research. Subjects were 150 counselors and psychologists whom were random selected. The instrument was a questionnaire composed of 37 items derived from the ethical issues and criteria approved by the Counseling and Psychotherapy Organization. The results showed that the mean score of 37 subjects was 25.07, with a standard deviation of 3.28. Therefore, the level of understanding of the ethical issues among the subjects was negative kurtosis. In other word, Most of the subjects believed in professional and ethical issues. That is, there was a meaningful difference considering gender, marital statues, academic achievement and professional ethical issues (such as physical contact and ethical issues between cultural themes and the benefit of session) among the subjects.

This research studied the effect of individual rational-emotive counseling on reduction of the irrational beliefs of the conflicting couples at Ferdows. Subjects were 20 couples selected voluntarily from among the couples at the risk for divorce. Subjects were randomly placed in control and experimental groups. Analysis of the data showed that the experimental and control groups were meaningfully different in subscales of self expectation, frustration reaction, anxiety over concern, and problem avoidance.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of participation in "job club" sessions on "job search behavior" of the unemployed people in Isfahan; to the goal of offering a model for "job clubs establishment". The sample was 261 unemployed people who voluntarily participated in the job club sessions. The sample was composed of six groups, based on sex and education level of the participants. The subjects came to Isfahan municipality academic center following a public announcement. Groups of subjects were randomly assigned into experimental and control groups. The research was conducted in six stages. Both groups were evaluated by these tests: Job Search Beliefs, Job Search Self-efficacy, and Job Search Activity scales. The experimental group participated in job club sessions while control group received no treatment. The results of covariance showed that participation in job club sessions affected job search behavior, that is, job search beliefs, job search self efficacy and job search Activity.

The present study examines causal and responsibility blame dimension attribution as the predictors of success or failure of marital relationship in intact and divorce seeking women in Abadan. Second goal of this study is providing a model for predicting marital status (success vs. failure) according to causal and responsibility-blame attribution dimensions. This present study is a correlational study. 204 randomly-selected women (102 intact and 102 divorce-seeking women) participated in this study. The results confirmed the hypothesis of the study revealed that success or failure in marital relationship can be predicted by the variables of the relationship attribution dimensions. The results obtained and the models presented in this study are discussed in detail.

In this research, simple and complex relationship of test anxiety and its components with academic performance of female third grade guidance school students in Behbahan have been investigated. The population includes all female third grade guidance school students in Behbahan in academic year 1386-87. The sample consisted of 180 students who were selected randomly by multistage sampling method. The instrument used in this research was Spielberger Test Anxiety Scale. The mean score of the subject's at the end of the first semester was considered as an index for their educational performance. Research methodology was of correlation coefficient type. For analysis of the results, descriptive statistics such as mean, standard deviation, and lowest and highest scores from inferential statistics, correlation coefficient and regression were used. The results indicated that there was a negative correlation between students test axiety, its components and their academic performance. Also, the results of multiple regression showd that the two components of test anxiety (worry & emotionality) has significant correlation with the academic performance of students.
