Abstract: 

The (Shiite) immaculate Imams, who have guided human beings toward belief in God, seeking his blessings and consent, are initiators of a special educational methodology, based on the monotheistic worldview derived from dinine revelations. What is certain is that once educationational problems have been pinned down, the most important activity is the adoption of an appropriate methodology.Coming to know the methodology used by the immaculate Imams (peace uopon them) and applysing it can potentionally lead human being toward salvation and nearness to God. So in this paper, attempt has been made to explore and explain the fundamentals of the Immaculate Immam's educational methodology covering thefollowing areas: the significance and necessity of methods in Islamic education context as employed by the immaculate Imams; how such methods have been developed and criteria for recognizing them; the characteristics of educational methodology; the worth and value of methods in education; types concerning this special type of methodology is made and a number of suggestions are offered.

Abstract: 

For categorizing all kinds of educational inequalities, referring to regional disparity is considered as a main indicator. This inequality limits individual access to education. People's right for an equal education is influnced by factors which are out of their control. There are evidence showing that regional disparity is stil1a crucial challenge for all educational systems including Iran. This paper presents briefly the results of a survey conducted in border and non-border regions of Khorasan province. Extract reliable data indicated that socio-cultural and economic deprivations were more prevalent in border regions than in non-border areas, 45 schools in border areas and 39 schools in non border areas were randomly selected. Data were collected by using two researcher made questionnaires as well as by reviewing official documents and records. Findings show that inequalities stemming from educational inputs, process and outputs are not as serious and significant as underlying, fundamental inequalities reflected in cultural and economic conditions. Thus non- educational inequalities impact outcomes more drastically than educational ones.

Abstract: 

School is an important educational Institution. It goes without saying that improving the conditions of schools needs active participation of parents.This article aims at exploring the obstacles in the way of parent participation in the education process, offering practical suggestions toward improving it. To fulfill the aim of study, a survey was conducted with special goal of exploring factors which influence parents' participation in educational process. The participants of the study consisted of 600 students parents (sample size) selected from among 204344 in the East Azarbaijan Province. They were parents of high school students in the academic year (2003-2004). In this survey, theories proposed by Vroom, Caplan etc, were used for explaining participation.The results of Multivariate regression analysis revealed that psychological factors were most influential on the rate of participation (Dependent variable). At a lower level, and in desceding order, structural factors, income, media factor and age proved to be infeleuetial.

Abstract: 

In recent years, there have been various attempts at determining the influencing factors on college students' satisfaction and success. One of the most important factors is experienced curriculum. The aim of this study was determining the role of experienced curriculum on satisfaction and success of Engineering and Applied science students 388 junior students from engineering and science colleges in Shiraz University were selected. Using SPSS and LISREL software’s data were indicated that: 1) The experienced curriculum was the meaningful mediator for satisfaction of junior students. 2) All of the experienced curriculum variables were the meaningful mediators for satisfaction of junior students.

Abstract: 

The aim of this study was to compare the academic performance in math and basic science of 5lhgrade elementary students of ahvaz as taught by part-time teachers vs. regular teachers. After the development of Achievements tests for mathematics and sciences, 480 urban and rural students were selected by multistage random sampling technique.The teacher's of this group were part time, the soldiers under training and regular teachers. Data analyzed by using of spss software (11.5) and the covariance Analysis method was used for controlling some variables such as educational grade of teachers and geographical conditions of the school. Findings show that academic performance (Mathematics and Science) of students with regular (officially employed) teachers was higher than that of the students with part- time and soldiers teachers.

Abstract: 

Library anxiety is an obstacle in educational success in the universities around the world which several studies have been conducted focusing on this issue. The present article reports a study done at the Medical University of Isfahan. The sample included 280 students, both male and female who were randomly selected from seven different faculties.A researcher-made questionnaire based on Bo stick's Library Anxiety Scale (1992), and modified to fit the supplemented cultural milieu of the Iranian universities was prepared along with a number of questions on anxiety level of the participants. The analysis of the data on the SPSS showed that the participants' level of familiarity with electronic resources and computer was below the expected level. The anxiety level, however, was normal among the participants. Factors such as library system, demographic status, and extent of familiarity with computer have been discussed in the present article.

Abstract: 

Psychoanalysis which is a method for dealing with psychological desease is based on the theory of character and human motivation. In the analysis of human character Freud considered one main factor, directly or indirectly, as the cause of all human behaviors. To justify this he referred to clinical cases and their practical success, and this meant that such a theory may not (ascientificaly). In this essay by distinguishing the two viewpoints in philosophy of science, that is, the inductive and non-inductive view, the degree of (testability) of psychoanalysis theories will be discussed.

دانشگاه شهید چمران اهواز در روزهای بهاری 22 و 23 فروردین ماه سال جاری (1387) شاهد برگزاری همایشی ملی تحت عنوان فناوری آموزشی در عصر اطلاعات و ارتباطات بود. این همایش که با همکاری گسترده گروه های آموزشی علوم تربیتی و کتابداری و اطلاع رسانی دانشکده علوم تربیتی و روان شناسی دانشگاه شهید چمران اهواز برگزار شد، حاصل کوشش های چندماهه اعضا هیات علمی دو گروه فوق الذکر، همکاری و مساعدت حوزه معاونت پژوهشی دانشگاه و همیاری و مساعی شرکت ملی مناطق نفت خیز جنوب بود.پیشنهاد اولیه برگزاری همایش پس از طرح در جلسات متعدد منفرد و مشترک دو گروه و در نهایت تحت عنوان بالا به تصویب جلسه مشترک دو گروه فوق الذکر رسید و پس از انتخاب دبیران کمیته های علمی و اجرایی جهت تصویب به حوزه معاونت آموزشی و هیات رئیسه محترم دانشگاه تقدیم گردید و نهایتا آقایان دکتر عبدالمهدی معرف زاده به عنوان دبیر علمی و آقای محمدحسن عظیمی به عنوان دبیر اجرایی همایش از ریاست محترم دانشگاه جهت انجام اقدامات بعدی حکم دریافت داشتند.
