Abstract

One of the fundamental needs of any society is securing jobs and creating job opportunities. However, this requires substantial investment by the public and private sectors. MICROENTERPRISES demand relatively fewer investments and are founded on the entrepreneurship possibilities in society. These possibilities pave the way for the public sector to promote welfare and jobs in society.This paper addresses MICROENTERPRISES and factors affecting their stability. Thus, using surveys and interviews with experts including 85 successful entrepreneurs and self-employed who with the help of financial facilities from Mehr Imam Reza (as) Fund, have created a micro enterprise and maintained their stability. Identifying and prioritizing factors affecting the maintenance of these enterprises are also dealt with in details in the present paper. With the help of SAW technique, the main factors were identified and Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) was also employed to rate these factors. The results indicate that INSURANCE has been one of the facilitating external factors that helped the stability of MICROENTERPRISES.
