Abstract

To Study the factors influencing user’s satisfaction of the library of the FACULTY OF PSYCHOLOGY AND EDUCATION, TEHRAN UNIVERSITY, 107 people (equal 10 percent of students academic staff) have randomly been chosen and they were asked to complete the questionnaire of user satisfaction. Findings show variables like COLLECTION RICHNESS and LIBRARY SERVICES are the best predictable for user’s satisfaction. It means that these two variables totally show 43 percent of USERS’ SATISFACTION (p<0.01). Other variables such as librarian’s ability in answering the user requests, library regulation and rules, and library space and facilities could solely predict a meaningful contribution of USERS’ SATISFACTION, but when they were entered with variables like COLLECTION RICHNESS, and LIBRARY SERVICES they could not increase a meaningful contribution to predictable.
