EXAMINE THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE WITH MANAGEMENT KNOWLEDGE IN EDUCATIONAL - HEALTH ORGANIZATIONS

Abstract

 Background: KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT plays an important role in the success of organizations. Many factors like ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE affected on KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT. So, the aim of the study is to investigate the relationship between ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE and its dimension with KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT.Materials and Methods: Cross-sectional descriptive analytical study was conducted in 2013. Study samples were 322 employees of 3 hospitals related to the Zahedan University of Medical Sciences who were selected through stratified-randomized sampling method. The data were collected by standard questionnaire of ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE and researcher made questionnaire of KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT and analyzed descriptively inferentially using SPSS version 18.Results: Test results of this study indicate that there is a positive and significant relationship between ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE and KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT. Other objectives of the test results indicate that among Components of ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE (clan, market, adhocracy) and KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT, there is a significant positive relationship and also, there is a negative and significant relationship between organizational bureaucratic culture and KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT.Conclusion: ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE is one of the main tools of a successful implementation of KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT in organizations. Changes in the ORGANIZATIONAL CULTURE in order to establish KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT in EDUCATIONAL- medical hospitals related to the University of Health and medical sciences of ZAHEDAN should be such That organizational tribe culture and organizational adhocracy culture to be considered in relation to other cultures.
