Anthropological Dimensions of Jihad in the Qur'an and its Application in Human Spiritual Health

Abstract

 Objective: The present study aimed to analyze the Anthropology of Jihad in the Qur'an and explain its effects on the Spiritual Health of human beings. Materials and Methods: The basis of this research is based on the analysis of Quranic data from verses related to the discussion of Jihad. In this process, the method of content analysis or data-based data was used. Findings: Jihad, by ensuring the dignity of human beings, has caused freedom of thought and expression, and while avoiding exceeding human limits in it, the proportion of the punishment of the warlords with the manner of their warfare should be considered. It also preserves the dignity of believing human beings, in which it is necessary to defend Muslims, especially when seeking help, to prioritize the security of believers over their physical needs, and to defend the dignity of individuals in Islamic society. Jihad also has an irreplaceable role in human perfection. For his perfection and characteristics such as natural hatred, evil temptations, pride, love of the world and hypocrisy, prevent him from reaching perfection. Conclusion: Contrary to some ideas in denying Jihad and criticizing it because of the negative effects on the Spiritual Health of human beings, Jihad (by observing the revelatory framework and taken from the Prophetic tradition (PBUH)) as one of the pillars of providing and promoting He counted the Spiritual Health of human beings.
