Abstract

Introduction: FE-learning is considered as a type l education in which learners are able to achieve educational goals according to their talents and due to the low cost of this type of education, the policy of establishing its use in Iranian university education has been proposed. Methods: This study was performed in 2020 on 442 students of one of the selected medical sciences universities in Tehran. The questionnaire used in this study had 3 parts, the first part collected students ‘, demographic and educational information and the next parts included a questionnaire related to e-learning readiness and students’,attitudes toward e-learning. Data were collected in SPSS 20 software and analyzed. The statistically significant level in this study was considered 0. 05. Results: The mean score of total e-learning readiness among all students was 3. 73 ±,0. 12. Under the scales, the most desirable readiness score was related to Internet group conversations (4. 089) and the lowest readiness score was related to the motivation subscale (3. 48). The mean total score of e-learning attitude was 75. 705 ±,12. 93. The mean of attitudes toward e-learning was not significantly different between males and females, but was significant in terms of degree (p <0. 001) and semester (p <0. 001). Based on Spearman correlation test, a positive and significant correlation was established between the attitude towards e-learning and the degree (p <0. 001 and r = 0. 350) and the semester (p <0. 001 and r = 0. 293). Conclusion: It seems that students are at a good level in terms of readiness and attitude towards e-learning, and this attitude becomes more desirable among students with the increase of their semesters and sections.
