Abstract

Oath, from the syntax scientists viewpoints, is a dictum what makes the sentence emphasizing; therefore, oath is one way to emphasize usual statements and has no other ways except to have an answer stating its objective. Structures, which are used in statements to lay an emphasis on and announce the certainty of something or make a request for something certain to be done are "oath structure". There exists a special structure for oath statement in Arabic language, which often uses special words, alphabets and sentences; and that is why each one shows one of the several literary points of the oath. On the other hand, division of oath has direct relationship with mentioned items from the omission, expression or repetition viewpoint, which has been considered in the present research.
