Abstract

Antonin Artaud never accepted to incur any loss in his pure feeling of being, refused the symbolic castration and never inclined in front of the “Name of the Father”. This primordial signifier of “Name of the Father” which inaugurates the subject in the chain of signifiers of language and defines its existence is foreclosed in the psychic formation of this great French author, sentenced as a result to stay until the end of his life stuck in the gap of his being that nothing could ever fill up.Artaud´s madness is to indulge in this deadly PAINFUL ENJOYMENT of saying the not-yet-revealed of his being in the world that no word could ever translate. This paper tries to study this madness by means of LACAN´s psychoanalytic theories. French: Le refus de l’aliénation signifiante Antonin Artaud n’a jamais accepté de subir une perte au niveau du réel de son être, a refusé la castration symbolique et ne s’est pas incliné devant la Loi et le Nom-du-Père. Ce signifiant primordial du Nom-du-Père qui inaugure le sujet dans la chaîne des signifiants du langage et définit son existence est forclos dans la formation psychique de cet artiste condamné à rester jusqu’à la fin de sa vie coincé dans le trou béant de son être du Réel que rien ne pourrait remplir.Artaud devient alors un sujet désirant mais dont le désir ne manqué de rien, au contraire. Il désire de dire le trop plein de sens de son être de pur ressenti, de dire cette chose interdite et hors de portée, remontant aux niveaux pré-individuel et pré-catégoriel du monde qu’aucun mot ne peut traduire. La folie d’Artaud est donc de se laisser aller à cette jouissance mortifère de vouloir dire l’inédit de l’être de l’homme et de son rapport au monde.
