Abstract

The expansion of Islamic awaking waves in the MIDDLE-EAST has managed to substantially influence the sources of SOFT POWER of global powers and THE US and great regional powers such as Iran. This study tries to analyze the impacts of recent public-religiousuprisings on the change of SOFT POWER sources of Iran and THE US. The findings of this study suggest that regarding the nature and purposes of recent uprisings in the MIDDLE-EAST, continuation of these developments will lead to an increase of ISLAMIC REPUBLIC OF IRAN’s sources of SOFT POWER and a decrease in SOFT POWER sources of THE US.
