Abstract

In this research, marital SATISFACTIONs in four FAMILY structures have been investigated. Questions and hypotheses presented here compare the degree of SATISFACTION of thefour following types offamily structure:1. Newly married couples without children 2. Families with pre-school children3. Families with teenagers4. Families whose children have married and have left home.Our sample includes 120 spouses and each group is composed of 30 couples. We have utilized ENRICH Questionnaire for marital SATISFACTION and our methodology is based on comparative causality. We have utilized covariance for data analysis. Our findings show that the level of SATISFACTION in families whose children have got married and left home is the highest, while families with teenagers have the lest marital SATISFACTION.
