Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate nutritional culture of women in the city of Shiraz. In this study, data were collected from 499 women in ages above 15 years. Findings showed that a number of women are familiar with the best styles of food preparation and consumption, but they practically don't use them. In general, the availability of food is an important factor in the determination of food basket of households.
