Abstract

The victory of the Islamic Revolution is due to the use of the liberating talents of the Shi'ite narrative of political Islam in providing a pattern of Resistance to the hegemony of the West and its hegemonical values. The study of the concept of Resistance, and its conceptual model in the thought of the Supreme Leader as components determining the progress of the Islamic society and overcoming the challenges posed by the power-domination system is the subject of this paper. Analysing of the statements of the Supreme Leader since 1989 shows that this concept in his thought is an importance factor for reaching the horizon of Islamic Civilization and the pattern of Iranian Islamic progress. The method used in this research is Content Analysis; from 93 lectures, during the years 1368. till the spring of 1398, in the first two steps, the open and axial coding of 146 codes and 11 categories was identified. In the next step, by analyzing the collected data and the relationship between the points, concepts and categories; the field of Resistance dimensions, obstacles, solutions, consequences and its outlook in the conceptual model is designed using a paradigmatic method.
