Abstract

In this research, 544 articles published in Iran (English and Persian) by the faculty members of the Universities of Tabriz and Shiraz Medical Sciences in Iran from 1995to 1999have been reviewed.The research was performed by using bibliometric method. Its primary purpose was to determine the main resources in use, scientific periodicals half-life to prepare ranked lists of journal, scientific co.-operation rate among Medical Science researchers, and to determine active sections and departments within the Universities of Tabriz and Shiraz Medical Sciences.
