Abstract

 The present research aims at accessing IRI Police (IRIP) commanders and managers’ empowerment pattern. IRIP top, middle and operational commanders and managers were randomly selected as the research samples (n=1100). The collected data was analyzed through using Kolmogorov–Smirnov, Friedman and Kruskal–Wallis tests. The results of the research indicated that 27 factors with an average of around 60 to 87% affect IRIP commanders and managers’ empowerment. The factors have formed a desirable pa􀆩ern through three dimensions and eight groups as follows:- Personal dimension: group of psychoanalysis, Islamic, revolutionary and professional factors;- Organizational dimension: managerial, structural and organizational nature strategies;- Environmental dimension: legal, economic, cultural and political, and social environment.Among the 27 factors, three factors: faith, combating oppression and community-oriented manner have had the highest impact, while three factors: social and political environment and leadership style have had the lowest impact.
