Abstract

Modern civilization, based on new philosophical foundations, caused fundamental changes in various personal and social spheres, which did not exclude physical spheres and architectural and city-building platforms. One of the most important philosophical foundations mentioned was the concept of Liberalism, which required the promotion of an object-oriented view of women, which led to the emergence of serious changes in the field of contemporary architecture and urban planning. In this research, by using a combined method (a combination of qualitative content analysis and logical-argumentation research), the problems resulting from the promotion of Feminine objectiveness in contemporary architecture and urban planning have been investigated with an emphasis on the geographical background of Iran. The findings of the research indicate that the emergence of the concept of Feminine objectiveness in the context of western Liberalism has accelerated and stabilized some serious changes in contemporary architecture and urban planning in Iran which changing the physical pattern of Residential Buildings from introverted and Privacy-creating to extroverted and Privacy-removing, changing the pattern of leisure from private spaces such as private gardens and green spaces to public parks and gardens, and some other developments are some of the most important of these changes that all these developments have been aimed at establishing the object-oriented view of women in the philosophical framework of Liberalism.
