VALUE CREATION STYLES BY PARENT COMPANY IN SUBSIDIARIES

Abstract

 Being under parent’s umbrella when is worthy for subsidiaries which helps them to perform effectively and also, PARENT COMPANY create value for subsidiaries more than cost. The key factor for creating value by parent is based on co-ordination between characters of parent and improvement opportunities in subsidiaries. In this article, we first examine characters of PARENT COMPANY and subsidiaries. Then, introduce four styles (stand-alone influence, linkage influence, functional and service influence, and corporate development activities) for VALUE CREATION in subsidiaries. Finally, we examine the challenges of each style.
