Abstract

Multi Criteria Decision Making is a technique which researchers have used it because of exploiting new management advantages. The technique has been used in modern knowledge-based organizations. In this paper, we tried to resolve one of the most important problems which ports & maritime organization confront it by means of "select the best site for positioning Boushehr trade wharf".This research considers several alternatives or sites by various specific factors selected for transferring SOFT AFLOAT operations. Main objective of the research is to choose the best site for positioning Boushehr trade wharf. Research proposal is survey-ground and it has used interviews of practitioners and senior managers, ports & maritime organization operational experts and direct observation of several sites positioning situation. In continue, it found that site 1 is more suitable than other proposed alternatives for positioning Boushehr trade wharf.
