Abstract

PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT is one of the tools used to obtain better results from the whole organization or the groups and people inside through understanding and managing PERFORMANCE in an agreed framework of planned goals, standards and eligibility requirements. The main goal of PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT is to create a culture in which people and groups take responsibility for continuous improvement of business process, their participation and skills. Now the question is that “what is the best model for PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT in National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company (NIOPDC)? And what are its dimensions, components and indicators? “Having studied the theoretical basics and conducted deep exploratory interviews, the prototype model is designed, then by using Delphi Method and questionnaires in three stages, the viewpoint of in-organization and out-organization experts are collected for final revision and confirmation. All 5 main dimensions including internal processes, stakeholders and beneficiaries, employer’s management, service quality and social responsibility are highly accredited by the experts. Also, PERFORMANCE components and indicators are confirmed by the experts in 5 dimensions as well.
