Abstract

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effectiveness of training positive thinking skills on Self-esteem and Life Expectancy in adolescents 21 to 21 years old Orphan, s and irresponsible caregiver. Semi-experimental research with pre-test and post-test design with control group. The statistical population of the study consisted of all. The statistical population of the study consisted of all adolescents Orphan, s and irresponsible under the supervision of the Welfare Office of Robat Karim in 2017-2018 in 125 teens Orphan, s and irresponsible. The sample consisted of 26 Orphan, s and irresponsible teenagers who were selected through targeted sampling and were replaced in Two groups 13 were tested and 13 were controls. The research tools included a Coopersmith Self-esteem questionnaire (1967) and a Miller Life Expectancy (1988). Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and covariance analysis. The results showed that in the post-test stage, the mean scores of Self-esteem and Life Expectancy in the experimental group were higher than the mean scores of the control group (P <0. 05).
