Abstract

The purpose of this study was to Investigate of The impact of personality traits and communication skills with conflict management styles of teachers in the city of babol. The study population, all high school teachers in the city of babol (1025 persons). And 280 of them people were selected by cluster sampling. The tools for data collection include the questionnaire of Communicative Skills Barton, Five Factor Personality Inventory NEO and conflict management styles Robbins. To analyze the data, the Pearson correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression were used. The results of correlation analysis showed that the five factors of personality, linked to various forms of conflict management styles. Also communication skills were negatively affected by conflict management styles control and avoidance. On the other hand, regression test showed that personality traits and communication skills can predict conflict management styles.
