Abstract

The present study aimed to investigate the effect of TRIZ training on the enhancement of entrepreneurship spirit among the managers and staff (n=110) of R & D units in Science and Technology Park and Semnan University Incubator. The study involved a convenience sample of 70 managers and staff. They were assigned to control and experimental groups based on whether they attended the TRIZ workshop (16 hours). Data were collected using the entrepreneurship Questionnaire (Aghaee, 2006) before and after the workshop. A comparison of the control and experimental groups indicated that TRIZ training impacted on the CREATIVITY, independence seeking, and entrepreneurship sprit of the respondents. TRIZ training also affected the locus of control, tolerance of ambiguity, and risk taking of the staff.
