Abstract

This research aimed at exploring the relationship among SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE, CIVIL AND EDUCATIONAL BEHAVIOR, and EDUCATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS of GRADUATE STUDENTS in Bu-Ali Sina University. The study included a total of 2702 GRADUATE STUDENTS. Using stratified sampling method 336 participants were selected. The study involved three questionnaires of SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE, CIVIL AND EDUCATIONAL BEHAVIOR, and EDUCATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS. The data were analyzed both descriptively and inferentially (Pearson correlation, t-test, and regression analysis). The results revealed that SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE was below the average level, but both CIVIL AND EDUCATIONAL BEHAVIOR, and EDUCATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS were above the average level. In addition, all variables of interest were moderately correlated. Multiple regression analysis further indicated that social awareness and information processing as two components of SOCIAL INTELLIGENCE could significantly predict EDUCATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS. From among the components of CIVIL AND EDUCATIONAL BEHAVIOR, observing regulations and intimate relationships could significantly account for EDUCATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS.
