Abstract

The time of Slajoghs and the cultural atmosphere of their society, and the concern of king of this dynasty to scholarship and literature, provided the necessary background for flourishing cultural figures and scholars. Among the scholars who were flourished in this context one can refer to Kadi Nasih Al-din Arrajani (460-544 A.H.). He held the position of judge in the cities of Khuzestan and Fars; furthermore, he was a Persian poet composing in Arabic. The lack of knowledge about this great figure in Iranian circles of knowledge is regrettable considering the great contribution he made to our literature. In this essay we introduce him and we shall study his contribution and his services to.
