Abstract

The research purpose is to construct and normalize an inventory to measure MARITAL SATISFACTION, therefore, a sample of 369 married students was selected using multi-stage cluster sampling among from the students of Ferdowsy and Medical Sciences Universities located in Mashhad. The researcher-made questionnaire was administered and the subjects were then tested with regard to Glasser’s five basic needs. Results concerning its reliability coefficient equaled 0/84; furthermore, the determined five factors describe 0/68 of the total variance. Moreover, normative scores have been presented regarding gender.
