Abstract

Introduction: ANEURYSMAL bone cyst is a rare primary or secondary osseous tumor which is frequently seen in the metaphysis of long bones. Its treatment mostly is CURETTAGE and bone graft.Case Report: The patient is a 23 year old man with a left femoral diaphysial and juxtacortical ANEURYSMAL bone cyst who underwent extended CURETTAGE after diagnostic work-up and preoperative embolization.Conclusion: Although ANEURYSMAL bone cyst is an aggressive and destructive lesion, it is mostly a treatable tumor by timely and correct measure without sequel
