Abstract

in Regional Planning Ghahremani, Mohammad Mehdi MA in Regional Planning Abtract RURAL TOURISM is sometimes interpreted as a solution to face economic difficulties such as unemployment, migration to cities poverty etc in villages.It is an extensive activity that include many field of ecotourism such as slope-sporting that has recently become popular has gained ground throughout the world including iran.However, nothing has been done in this aspect of natural tourism, namely slope sporting and its role in attracting tourists in the villages of AMOL province, wheras the present study proves that most villages in the areas are suitable for SLOPE MOUNTAINEERING as an activity that can attract many tourists to the areas. The present research an analytical application, undertaken by means of utilizing spss, expert choice Arc GIS9.3and STEP FUNCTION and AHP methods.The results of the research has proved that (1) districts of AMOL province display natural attractions suitable for SLOPE MOUNTAINEERING and (2) this possibility can be utilized in expansion of RURAL TOURISM in districts of AMOL province.In conclusion solutions have been suggested.
