Abstract

The subject of this research is to investigate of the role of the SOCIAL TRUST on rural development programs. The object of this survey was to investigate of explanation of the SOCIAL TRUST on rural development programs and at the same time it exams the effect of the role of the SOCIAL TRUST on rural development programs. For to measure of the trust we used the sociological and rural development theories. According to these theories we designed the research hypotheses and indexes was defined. Method of research was survey and technique of gathering of data was questionnaire. We studied 366 people from villagers of Midan Chai of Tabriz city in the East Azerbayejan province. The sampling method was random, dependent variable was rural development programs and independent variables were age, sex, education and social-geographical origin. The results showed that the most direct effect was by SOCIAL TRUST (45%), social integration (42%) and education (12%). The most indirect effect was by variables of SOCIAL PARTICIPATION, practical and mental participation, cooperation, age and sex (36%). In a total resulting in attention to effect of the role of the SOCIAL TRUST on rural development programs in among of villagers we recommend that the supporting and developing of it is needs to more investment.
