The Effect of Internal Marketing and Organizational Entrepreneurship on the Performance of Tejarat Bank: Productivity, Financial and Staff Development

Abstract

 The purpose of the present correlational study was to examine the effect of Internal Marketing and enterprise entrepreneurship on Performance of Tejarat Bank with regard to Productivity, finance and staff development. The research data were collected via five piloted Likert scale questionnaires administered to a sample of 76 who were selected using a clustered sampling from a population of 95 directors and deputies of branches of Tejarat Bank in Ardebil province. The SPSS version 17 and Smart PLS were employed to statistically analyze the research data and answer the research hypotheses through Structural Equation Modelling and the Path Analysis Technique. The results revealed that the Performance of Tejarat Bank in three areas of Productivity, financial, and staff development was significantly and positively correlated with Internal Marketing as well as with Organizational Entrepreneurship. The findings underscore the key role of employees’ motivation in today's fast and competitive banking, and thereby, the importance of acknowledging employees’ needs and reinforcing their positive behaviors which is a growing challenge. It is thus suggested that Tejarat Bank should consider more closely the significance of domestic marketing and Organizational Entrepreneurship in order to maintain its distinctive character among customers for whom adequate Performance is the main selection criterion.
