Abstract

The study was designed and administered to study the effectiveness of teaching communicative skills on improving the married WOMEN's qualities of life. The research method was semi-experimental which has pretest, posttest and witness group. The sample include 30 WOMEN who referred to Mehr Counseling Center in Qom and they were selected as a sample and completed (whoqol-brief) quality of life questionnaire (World Health Organization 2004) twice as a pretest and posttest. The witness group was taught communication skills in 8 sessions, for 2 months. The results of analyzing covariance showed increasing the average of scores of the quality of life in test group than the average in witness group. Studying the average of scores of the quality of life factors separately in test and witness group showed that mental health factors and environment had meaningful difference, while this difference was not seen in physical health factors and social relations.
