Abstract

 The purpose of this study is to analyse the relationship between KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT dimensions and the levels of ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING among the board of ACADEMIC MEMBERS in Esfahan university. The research method was descriptive correlation. The statistical population included all the ACADEMIC MEMBERS in Esfahan university (500 member), out of which 217 members using simple random sampling were chosen as sample size. The data were collected by two questionnaires, ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING and KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT. Inferential statistic such as pearson correlation coefficient, stepwise multiple regression, multivariate analysis of variance (MANOVA), Scheffe test and structural equation modeling were used to test the hypotheses. Findings showed that there was a significant difference between KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT dimensions and the levels of ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING (P£0.05). Among the levels of ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING, individual and group levels were the best predictors of KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT. There was no significant difference among the ACADEMIC MEMBERSˆ view points on KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT dimensions (sex, field of study, university degree, academic rank, and record of service). There was a significant difference between organizational levels based on teaching level and record of service. The result showed that the ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING had a direct effect on KNOWLEDGE MANAGEMENT.
