Abstract

Introduction: The transition from juvenile stage due to puberty, the most sensitive part and the most vulnerable segments of society and some reactions as emotional STRESS and ANXIETY and DEPRESSION and mental health problems from this study are also in order to review the Relationship between DEMOGRAPHIC FACTORS and emotional relations in middle school boys in the military Town of Tehran.Method: A descriptive study - cross-sectional, all son students to one of the towns public schools affiliated to Tehran Total 172 students were measured their emotional reactions (depression, ANXIETY and STRESS) by DASS21questionnaire and then the data using SPSS17 software test and Were analyzed by parametric statistical tests.Results: The results shown that the students had 54.5% average STRESS and 28.7% severe STRESS, ANXIETY in 39.5% average and 10.6% have had severe ANXIETY and DEPRESSION also comments 49.3% average and 14.2% showed severe DEPRESSION. And demographic characteristics of the study, only direct contact between older father and communication with parents and interest in the religious with the emotional reactions of statistically significant inverse correlation was seen (p<0.05). Conclusion: Considering the prevalence of DEPRESSION, ANXIETY and STRESS may trigger this response young age of accountability, is essential for the screening and more comprehensive studies in this field and necessary measures, including strengthening the relationship with the father or create interest in the field of religious schools, especially for crisis of puberty period in middle school should be considered.
