Abstract

 Insurance companies and health centers have an important role in insured people’s SATISFACTION via providing services as pension plans, medical expense coverage, unemployment insurance, medical devices grants, marriage grants and health services. This research was done through documentary and mainly surveying method with the aim of identifying factors influencing insured people’s SATISFACTION with these supports and services in 2010 KhorramAbad. Simple random method was implemented to choose from among the statistical population including 61649 insured subjects. The validity index of the research instrument (questionnaire) was estimated to be .70 using Chronbach’s alpha. 400 questionnaires were distributed among the population by some interviewers and data analysis was done using SPSS. Based on the findings, there were high correlations among all the research variables and the regression analysis showed that the first effective factor (having the highest coefficient) was the age factor indicating more SATISFACTION of the elderly than the young (the age variable, .51). Married subjects’ SATISFACTION was higher than singles’ (the marriage variable, .26). The behavioral manner of employees towards the insured people was .21 and the awareness variable was .14. The type of insurance had an influence of .80. Voluntary insurance users had higher SATISFACTION than compulsory insurance users. The results also indicated that the access level to service was about .05. On the whole, the rate of SATISFACTION of the people under insurance and health services coverage was ate the average level downwards.
