Abstract

Background: Stress of MENTAL HEALTH in job stresses Impact on care staff and can affect the quality of services provided to client. This study was to examine evaluation of MENTAL HEALTH and related factors in volunteer groups and members STUDENT CENTERS of RED CRESCENT in Borujen.Method: This cross-sectional study was implementation on 230 members STUDENT CENTERS of RED CRESCENT. Gathering instrument was demographic information questionnaire and general health questionnaire (GHQ). Data was analyzed by SPSS/16 and descriptive and analytical tests Chi-square and Fisher exact tests were used at a significance level of 0.05.Results: These results showed that the mean and standard deviation obtained from the General Health Questionnaire between samples 50.28±29.88 respectively and a total of 56.52% had psychological disorders. In considering domains MENTAL HEALTH 65.21% were depression and 68.69% Anxiety. These findings indicated that the majority of psychological disorders were studied. There was significant difference between marital statuses, education level, and gender, with MENTAL HEALTH (p<0.05).Conclusion: According to the high prevalence of MENTAL HEALTH problems in the research findings, to prevent and resolve the problem prevent and solve problems, the attention of the authorities involved in MENTAL HEALTH is essential and in particular the student center is the perfect place to plan and education are increasing the level of youth MENTAL HEALTH.
