Abstract

The aim of this study was to investigate the impact of macro-economic variables (Oil prices, EXCHANGE RATES and INFLATION) on the performance of listed companies in Tehran Stock Exchange. The hypothesis of this study, each of the macroeconomic variables and firm performance were addressed, Sample research listed companies during the periodof 2001 till 2012 is. Applied statistical methods, logistic regression, T tests, and regression and correlation. Our findings the results of the research shows a significant correlation between macro-economic variables (prices, EXCHANGE RATES and INFLATION) and EVA (as a measure of corporate performance evaluation) have a significant correlation, this means that with three variables, EVA companies studied increased and better performance is evaluated.
