Abstract

Virtual social networks are a new generation of social relationships that make life so much space; they have been able to work well in living room. Many people of different ages and from different social groups have come together in social networks from great distances in the real world; communicate with each other through social networks. Social networks have a strong role in today's world and cannot be ignored. The sites on different aspects of individual and social life and in our country and even international influence and why are expanding and a far greater role in the future and will play an even more important in life. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of the social network Facebook as the most popular social network today and its role in social change and CULTURAL IDENTITY. The research is descriptive and correlational. The population of this research included all students of Islamic Azad University, Science and Research, is 1392 years. Stratified random sampling method is. Cochran formula was used to determine the sample size of 265 was calculated sample. The questionnaire is self-made. SPSS software is used to analyze the data and chi-square test and Friedman.
