Abstract

 "Conflict Management" is one of the important issues in management of organizational behavior. Conflict is applied to any disputes that occur between individuals or groups. If the conflict is controlled and moderated, it is necessary for groups and organizational life, because it can stimulate the creativity in individuals. This type of conflict is called functional conflict. But severe and uncontrolled conflicts which are called dysfunctional, cause unhappiness and undermine interpersonal relations and eventually leads to group destruction. Conflict management is keeping the conflict in desired level. If conflict is below average, manager should stimulate it and tries to increase it but if it is beyond average, however, he should seek to reduce it.By studying the presented ways for DYSFUNCTIONAL CONFLICT MANAGEMENT this result is obtained that all of these ways may be classified under the five styles of conflict management listed in the experts' books. These styles are: Competition, Devotion, Avoidance, Compromising and Collaboration.There are valuable materials about the conflict in QURAN. One of the chapters of Holy QURAN which has discussed this topic in different types is the chapter of Josph.By extracting and analyzing the most important of these conflicts and how to manage them by two God's prophets, Jacob and Joseph (peace be upon them), this article intends to achieve the viewpoint of QURAN about resolving the dysfunctional conflict and conditions of five DYSFUNCTIONAL CONFLICT MANAGEMENT styles.
