Stylistics is one of the literary issues to which special attention has been paid by scholars and declaimers in the recent century. Literary style comes from one’s thought which expresses his attitude and insight of realities surrounding him. The kind of word, combinations, sentence structure and the way of meaning in interpretation are the most important factors in manner of literary style. Examples, those texts which are worthy of survey and analysis, are religious texts specially Nahjolbalaghah, because the composer himself is the master of eloquence. Among sermons and epistles, the 53rd epistle to Malik Ashtar while being designated as Egypt’s statesman, is highly considered due to political, ethical, military and social factors. The Internal musical harmony of the epistle with its purpose and the proper usage of methods, according to its subject are some of outstanding qualities of this epistle. In this article the author tries to state the beauties, values and style of this epistle by studying its stylistics notionally, linguistically (phonetically, lexically, syntactically) and literarily.
