Abstract

Introduction: MALE FACTORs are responsible for 50% of infertilities. Considering, a few studies have been investigated causes of MALE INFERTILITY in our country. Hence, we evaluated causes INFERTILITY in referred to urology clinic of Imam Reza hospital of Mashhad.Methods: This is a retrospective study that served on 2000 files from 2004 through 2009.based on gynecologist examination patients’ wife had no problem. Information such as age, duration of marriage, past fertility history, familiar history and examination recorded exactly in files.Results: The age of patients was 20-54. The most group of patients referred 2 years after marriage. There is 98.7% on primary INFERTILITY. 37.4% of patients diagnosed varicocele. Spermogram showed 366 men with normal spermogram, 346 azospermi and 879 with subnormal spermogram.Conclusion: The most cause of MALE INFERTILITY in our referred was varicocele. We suggest similar studies in other centers.
