Abstract

The aim of the present Study was to identify the relationship between the accountability and ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENTs of Female students in the first grade of secondary school (seventh grade) in the city of Mahabad. The research is of descriptive-correlation type and the statistical population include all the female students of first grade of secondary school of Mahabad in the academic year 2013-14. Sampling has been done through the use of Cochran’s formula, according to which 287students were selected out of 1149. The data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire. The validity of the questionnaire was confirmed through face validity. In order to determine the reliability of the test, Cronbach’s Alpha was used, and the reliability coefficient was 0.909. For data analysis, descriptive and inferential statistics were used. The correlation Coefficient test and regression analysis were used for inferential statistics. The final results of testing the hypotheses indicated that there is a correlation between RESPONSIBILITY taking and all its components and ACADEMIC ACHIEVEMENT. In other words, all of the research hypotheses were confirmed.
