Abstract

National Tax Administration was established in 1380 in order to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the tax system based on the Thirth Five-Year Development Plan of Islamic Republic of Iran. Increasing tax income, reducing the cost of tax collection, increasing the satisfaction of taxpayers and stakeholders of tax system, training and development of human resourse, improving of civil service, automating of tax system and promoting of PRODUCTIVITY, are the other goals of the administration. This paper investigats the extent of achieving. these goals of National Tax Administration by using Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results show that IRANIAN NATIONAL TAX ADMINISTRATION has not been efficient. Furthermore, during the period of 1381-1385 the trend of efficiency was unstable and trend of utility of tax system and education of human force, was positive.
