Abstract

RURAL TOURISM is one of the grounds for rural development which can provide opportunities for occupation and revenue in villages while playing a role in the revival and regeneration of rural areas. Tourism is turning into the main foundation of trade economics of the countries and is regarded as the most significant occupation industry. Villages and rural residents are related to tourism in two aspects; rural environments are considered to be suitable places for visitors to spend their time and the rural products can be sold directly to visitors which can increase the direct revenue of villagers while maintaining the rural handicrafts alive. On the other hand, cultural interactions and ecological threats have been enumerated as two barriers on the way of tourism development in rural areas. Tracing sustainable development in such areas can be seen in two sectors of economics and culture.This paper, based on library and field studies, in practically introduces RURAL TOURISM. It provides strategies about the management of economic institutions in a way to provide the greatest profits for villagers. The conflict management can be applied to make a balance between challenges of development and overutilization in different parts of tourism. On the other hand, the paper suggests some solutions for the development of small industries such as handicrafts skills in order to increase the villagers` revenues in domestic business.
